This was intended to be a casual hike, but turned into a sheep adventure. Since it was to be just an average hike, I only took my phone and GoPro. That said, the experience was too good not to share: Dall sheep are beautiful and generally, if a person is lucky enough to see them, they are hundreds of yards away. Once I saw the sheep, I set my GoPro up on a likely trail and planned to herd the sheep past it for a good video. The sheep never did pass by my GoPro. However, for some reason on this day, they allowed me to approach them to within 10-20 feet and so I was able to take some very good pictures.
