The Rut is Hard on Bull Moose

Come along for a look at some fantastic bull moose in the post rut. The rut is hard on moose and many bulls sustain injuries. Some of the injuries are superficial and others can be life threatening or fatal. Today we will look at a moose who has a back leg that is pretty compromised. I do not think he could fend off a bear in the condition he is in and it will not be long until we have snow on the ground and mobility becomes more difficult. Fingers crossed for a full, speedy recovery.
