Fishing for Suckers : A Lesson in Patience

On our last trip ice fishing the bite was pretty slow. We could only see long nosed suckers approaching our lures. They weren’t biting well either. Our kids learned that to catch them you had to keep your bait still until the right moment. It’s kind of hard to be that disciplined when you can see them on the bottom all around your bait.
