Hunting Grizzly Bear and Caribou in Alaska: The Big Pack Out

With their time in this beautiful location sadly coming to an end, Ian Harford and Steve Wild still have had one more task after hunting grizzly bear and caribou in Alaska: it's time for the big pack out.

Welcome to Hunting in Alaska - Episode Twelve.

Yesterday was an amazing day for Ian and Steve deep in caribou country. Not only did they harvest a couple of mature caribou bulls ideal for harvesting, but also a beautiful grizzly bear feeding on a berry patch high on the side of the mountain, (click here to watch now -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ShiX3JnQfA )

Their adventure in Alaska has been incredibly successful. Unfortunately, it has now come to a close. All that is left to do now is pack out their last three animals and prepare camp ready for their return flight to civilisation.

Whilst it's undoubtedly going to be a tough day, every sinew of usable meat must be harvested. Ian and Steve both enjoy packing out as much as they do the hunting.

It’s another exhausting day for Ian and Steve as they carry the meat back to camp. It’s now time to head back to camp, dry off and enjoy their final night in the Alaskan wilderness.

The next day it’s time to getting packing, take down the tents and prepare for their flight out of Caribou Country. It is a sad moment for both Ian and Steve, but they are certain they will return to this outstanding place for another epic hunting adventure.
