Alaska Aurora Viewing Tour. Alaska Northern Lights Tour has Fairbanks city Tours and Alaska Winter Tours from Fairbanks that are an evening of viewing Aurora and a Native Culture Show. It occurs in the Fairbanks area Nov.- March. The Tour not only includes viewing Aurora at a comfortable Log Lodge 25 miles from Fairbanks, but while there you will see a Native Culture Show. This is a video of the live Indian Hoop Dance you will see and also an Alaska Native Cultures Presentation that includes cultural videos produced by Ben Boyd, the presenter. This is a video of and produced by Your Guide, Brother to the Wolf (Ben Boyd) who is an Alaska Mountain Man who has made his living hunting, fishing and trapping, using only a Sled Dog Team while living above the Arctic Circle in remote Indian Villages. He has been an Indian Hoop Dancer since the age of six and now at age 67 is one of the oldest performing Native Hoop Dancers in the World. He has a Masters Degree in Cultural Documentation From University of Alaska Fairbanks. He will not only be your Aurora Guide but will dance and give a Cultural Presentation.
