Moose Rut: Hot Cow has Bull Going in Circles

Today I am going to take you on an amazing adventure. This day started off well before sunrise. In the predawn, foggy darkness I hiked above the tree line and waited for the fog to lift. It rained, started to snow and tested my dedication to a plan I had made to find a large bull moose. The morning proved to be challenging, but provided no moose sightings. In the afternoon, I found a cow who was coming into heat and a large bodied bull moose courted her for for a couple hours. The bull grunts, cow moans and mating dance was unforgettable.
