FREE Things To Do In Anchorage Alaska in Winter - Road Trip from Off-Grid Cabin

Time for a road trip from off-grid cabin near Talkeetna, to Anchorage Alaska for our first set of Covid 19 shots and to enjoy a couple days ON GRID. When living off grid in Alaska in winter, running water as well as heat and power at your fingertips can be a real treat!
There are plenty of FREE things to do in Anchorage Alaska in winter! We'll show you what we did in just a couple of days, including the road conditions driving into Anchorage as well as the awesome views on the way back. We happened to be taking this trip during the week of the Iditarod sled dog race. Although the race course was changed due to Covid, we did catch some of the scenes from the head quarters at the hotel where we were staying.
