We spent 48 hours in Ketchikan, Alaska, the Salmon capitol of the world, and the southern most city in Alaska’s famous inside Passage. A favorite stop among cruise ships, like Norwegian Cruises and Carnival Cruises, there is so much to see or do as soon as you step off a ship or a plane! Cruise ships are constantly docking at the port bring a level of activity that makes the town feel so alive. We enjoyed Alaskan seafood at The Alaska Fish House, explored the totem poles at the Saxman Totem Park and the Totem Heritage Center. We sea kayaked with Ketchikan Kayak Company and saw whales, starfish, and many different sea life.
