Road Trip to Valdez, Alaska | Glaciers, Waterfalls and Sea Lions!

Valdez, Alaska can be a hard place to get too. Whether you fly into Anchorage then drive 5.5 hours to get to Valdez, or you fly directly into Valdez it requires a lot of traveling. After living in Alaska for nearly 3 years we decided it was time to finally check it out and see if it was worth all the hype. So many of our friends and coworkers had been there and suggested weekend trips there. Valdez did not disappoint. While it certainly was a long drive, the Solomon Gulch Hatchery single-handedly made the drive worth it, let alone Keystone Canyon or any of the many glaciers we saw on the drive.
